A Case of Primary Reticulum Cell Sarcoma in the Parietal Bone

Abstract
We has experienced a case of primary reticulum cell sarcoma in the parietal bone.
The patient was a 11 year old Korean girl who complained of headache, and a Palpable mass in the parietal portion.
The X-ray film of the skull revealed marked spicular, destructed and scarce periosteal lamination of the parietal bone.
The Carotid angiogram was normal except forward compression of the superior longitudinal sinus at the parietal area.
A tumor measuring 6X5X3cm was sucessfully removed from the parietai bone and irradiation theraphy with Cobalt 60 was carried out.
Histological examination revealed intercellular argentophilic fibers, mixed interlacing tumor cell and
collagen fiber, and the tumor cells arranged reticular and boxing formation.
The type of tumor cell is multiple shape and abundant cytoplasm. PAS positive granules were not
found inside or outside of cytoplasm. No tumor was found in any other parts of the body.
